Important Safety Information

  • TRELEGY contains vilanterol. Long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) medicines such as vilanterol, when used alone, increase the risk of hospitalizations and death from asthma problems. TRELEGY contains an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), an anticholinergic, and a LABA. When an ICS and LABA are used together, there is not a significant increased risk in hospitalizations and death from asthma problems.
  • Do not use TRELEGY to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always have a rescue inhaler with you to treat sudden symptoms.
  • TRELEGY should not be used in children younger than 18 years of age. It is not known if TRELEGY is safe and effective in children.

AN EXERCISE IN GRATITUDE

AASTHA SETHI
PALM CITY, FLORIDA

AASTHA:
My name is Aastha Sethi and I'm from Florida. I love staying active, really passionate about taking care of myself, physically and mentally. I love my animals. I entered dog training pretty recently. It's so cool because they really make such a big difference in people's lives. They can help so much.

AASTHA:
I love my family. They are just my people—they’re my best friends, they're my life, they're my joy. It was intense growing up with asthma. I remember being really confused; it didn't make sense to me. Like, you can't get that breath in, and you try and you try and it just makes it worse. That feeling still scares me.

AASTHA:
And then, I got diagnosed with a brain malformation, and they scheduled me to get surgery in 2016. That was challenging. That was when it got very dark for me, and, and I think I felt hopeless in that sense, you know, because there's a lot that was going against me at that time.

AASTHA:
After that, my asthma, of course, was still going strong. I was waking up in the middle of the night, wheezing so badly and taking my nebulizer. I couldn’t escape it.

AASTHA:
The biggest turn-around for me was just seeing how much I could be doing—that was really frustrating for me, because I was limited because of my asthma. So, at that point I'm like, okay, this is not working.

AASTHA:
Just accepting it as it was, was just a way for me to cope. You kind of get in that mindset of, like, I've tried all the options, you know? But in reality, I was just telling myself that; I didn't actually know all the options. I went to my doctor; I asked about TRELEGY. They said a lot of their patients had had success with it. So that gave me hope and I said, “Alright, let's try it.”

AASTHA:
I've been on TRELEGY from August of 2021. I only take it once a day; I take it in the morning and I'm good to go. I still do need my rescue,...

AASTHA:
...and that's a safety thing. But now I don't have asthma holding me back. I still face the same problems, it's just, with TRELEGY, it's managed.

AASTHA:
I think it’s so important to keep practicing yoga, and it's just, it’s like a way to reconnect with everything. Being outdoors and being in nature is just a huge reminder of that. Focus on what makes you happy, what makes this life worth living. It's such a nice feeling to just be able to live and breathe.
